FIA president Max Mosley has broken his silence on the conditional entry the nine FOTA teams made last Friday to the 2010 world championship.
Speaking to Swiss paper Motorsport Aktuell, Mosley made it quite clear that he is not going to entertain FOTA’s demands that the budget cap idea be abandoned, that the 2009 rules be carried over for next year and that the new Concorde Agreement be signed by June 12th, the date on which the successful entries will be announced.
“You cannot sign an agreement which was specified so late, before June 12th.” he said. Clearly not willing to back down on the central point of his plan, which is the budget cap.
“I say, if you want to make the rules, then go an organise your own championship. Formula 1 is ours, we make the rules. We’ve started 60 years ago and we will continue like that.”
Mosley wants new teams in F1 and believes that FOTA’s conditional entry is a tactic, “It’s quite clear that they want to slow down the process of application to the championship so that it will be too late for the new teams.”
The FIA believe they have the FOTA teams exactly where they want them. They believe that Ferrari is subject to the same legally binding agreement to compete that has compelled Williams to enter and for that reason, on June 12th I think they will name Ferrari as an entrant, despite the Italian teams’s desire to be part of the dissident group. After that it will be up to Ferrari to challenge for their right not to compete.
As for the rest, they may start to sweat a little as the 12th gets closer and they realise that this is a game of musical chairs and that when the music stops, they might well be left with no chair. Mosley may have felt compelled to say something after almost a week of silence but he is not blinking as things stand.

The Sims 3 game of course has been like a game of Russian Roulette today. The game is having Authorization code issues, there are even glitches with in the game, the site is not loading some if not most of the pages. A lot of people cannot download their free content from TheSims3.com with their codes they got with the The Sims 3 Collectors Edition. Then there are those who aren’t having problems at all. People are becoming a bit skeptical, hell I am too and that’s because I haven’t installed mine yet because my computer parts do not come until tomorrow which is in 25 minutes.
Some people are having problems because they decided to buy the game without looking at the system requirements first; they’re getting blocky people, letters, environments etc etc. Other people are having problems installing the game because there is this Authorization error going around… its either ‘disc authentication failure’ or its ‘make sure the disc is in the drive’ then there are people getting a authentic error basically saying the copy they are using isn’t authentic. The glitches well…
- The cheapest shower’s arrow ‘faces’ the wrong direction, It’s supposed to point where you enter from but is on the wrong side.
This makes it annoying while building a small house. I didn’t pay a maid $125, so he went to steal a chair.
BUT now the chair is “attached” with the desk… and on the desk was a laptop…
I owed him $125 and he took over $5500 worth…
Maybe that’s a glitch, maybe it isn’t. As far as downloading anything from the site, well it could work or not. Some people get to downloading their items and it lags, freezes or just stops. Speaking of which, people games are crashing a lot as well, the game will crash while creating a Sim in the Create-a-Sim area. Hopefully there will be a patch for this game really soon. I know there are a lot of mad and angry Sim fans out there. Also there are people who are having trouble viewing their Sims in the community lots. Maybe its their computer, maybe its the game but being that this is EA we’re talking about who knows? Even some people received their Sims 3 Collectors Edition and didn’t get their Carabiner. It comes with the The Sims 3 Collectors Edition by the way, I should know. Some now are missing roofs to their houses, the Sims are even bald.
In other news, ModTheSims.com has started on making mods for the The Sims 3 games. Feel free to click the link and see for yourself. From my understanding, these downloads from that site are free so you won’t need any Sim Points.
If you are having problems you can go here and submit your problems in the forum. I haven’t been able to see the forums since this morning and that was around 5 A.M.. You must be a registered user meaning, your game has to be registered to post topics or replies. If you would like to see if your computer can run The Sims 3 game you can go to Can You Run It?. If you don’t know it by that name but by another, its also called EA System Requirements Lab.
I just tried the forums again and now I can finally get into the forums after I’ve been waiting all day. Then again, I was able to get into them before the http 404 error earlier but the forums was just showing raw CSS when I selected ‘reply’.

As far as Patches go, people on TheSims3.com are making online petitions to recieve them faster because it hasn’t been 24 hours and the game is really messed up for a lot of folks.
Also people who don’t read, if you’re trying to install a DVD-ROM game with a PC-ROM then you deserve not to play the game, as well as those who decided to get the game knowing they have a Celeron Processor Dell Dimension 3000.
I will update if anything new happens until then, those who are glitch free HAPPY SIMMING!

Some Suggestions:
I don’t know if this would work but I heard if you’re getting an error about the game being fake, try installing it offline. Disconnect from your internet then install it. If there is some reason to why you can’t install while you’re offline then EA is more fail than I thought.
Try Deleting programs you aren’t using if you’re getting an Authorization error. If you have EA games on your computer that you did not buy and you have cracks, patches, hacks for them, that can mess with an legit game. I don’t know how true that is but someone told me after they deleted their games they illegally got, the game started working. That may not be the case for everyone though cause everyone probably don’t have pirated games on their PC or anything else stolen, cracked or patched. Or then it could just be the disc that its on.
As President Obama gets ready to address the Muslim world in Cairo tomorrow, one Republican is accusing him of being too apologetic about America’s past mistakes. Mitt Romney refers to it as a “tour of apology,” and says that of course the U.S. makes mistakes, but that it’s inappropriate to “go around the world apologizing.”
The former — and perhaps future — Republican presidential candidate says there’s nothing wrong with showing our respect for the Muslim world. But he thinks President Obama should spend more time talking about the sacrifices the U.S. has made for other countries — like during World War II.
Romney points to an interview that the president gave on Arabic TV where he said the U.S. had dictated to the world; and he says a British newspaper declared Obama the president who’s the most critical of his own country while on foreign soil.
The former Massachusetts Governor says this would be a “most unfortunate distinction at any time,” but especially now — when this should be a time for “strength and confidence.”
It’s worth pointing out that Romney’s own foreign policy experience is negligible. But he has no shortage of opinions when it comes to the Middle East, North Korea and missile defense.
He insists he’s not running for 2012 now — but rather working to get Republicans elected. Might be easier to run for president.
Here’s my question to you: Is Mitt Romney right when he says Pres. Obama is too apologetic about the U.S. overseas?

It’s Park Ga-hee, foxy leader of After School. Although she has basically maintained the same facial structure and make-up can do a girl wonders, do you spot any cosmetic adjustments?
On Monday’s episode of Jon & Kate Plus Eight, Kate Gosselin spent her birthday without her husband Jon, who was away on a snowboarding trip.
“I went out to Utah for like five days,” he says in the episode filmed in March. “I just wanted to get back out there and ride with my friends. It just happened to fall on Kate’s birthday.”
But Kate wasn’t alone. Her eight kids, with help from the show’s producers, surprised her with a bus ride to Charm City Cakes, the bakery featured on the show Ace of Cakes.
There, Kate was surprised with a pink lemon birthday cake and her kids got to decorate cakes of their own with globs of colorful icing. It looked “like a rainbow vomited,” Kate said.
“This season, sometimes you’ll see Kate and I interview separately. Sometimes you’ll see us interview together on the chair,” Jon explained in a voiceover. “It depends how things are going. We have busy schedules.”
In the second of two new episodes Monday night, their schedules kept them apart again. This time, however, Kate took their daughter Madelyn, 8, to San Diego while Jon stayed home with her twin sister Cara and their six younger brothers and sisters.
While Kate and Madelyn hung out on the beach and got pedicures, Jon put together the slide for a swing-set he was building, and took the kids on a hike in the woods, where one of the sextuplets, Alexis, tripped with her hands in her pockets, fell and bit through her lip.
Jon called the kids’ pediatrician and then informed Kate of the news.
“We usually don’t call,” Jon says of the couple’s understanding.
“No news is good news,” Kate explained.
The Gosselins did come together to film their confessionals, sitting as far apart as possible in their famous loveseat or with Madelyn between them, but didn’t directly address their recent marital problems.
That was covered in last week’s fifth season premiere of the show, which earned 9.8 million viewers, a record for TLC.
